In Ireland there is a saying, "A Robin appears, when a lost loved one is near". These friendly birds often join us in the garden and make us think of a lost loved one. Life really does exist in stories and memories. Cherished memories.
 
This is an original piece of embroidery textile art. No prints are taken. this original piece will always be 100% yours. Thats my business philosophy and part of my mission statement. Art is important but should also be affordable and accessible to all.
 
I hand made the ground material in 100% wool. I then "Sketch" the birds using my sewing machine. The technique is called "free motion embroidery". I use cottons, wool tweeds and silks to add sections of colour. Building up the little design as a collage. 
 
No two pieces of mine are ever the same. The size is 26cm x26cm framed ( artwork inside is 12cmx12cm approx). The frames are real wood, limed white, square and sourced in Ireland from Strand Framing in Co. Cork.
The piece is ready to hang on your walls or gift.
