I have to say all this BLACK FRIDAY CRAP gives me goosebumps! Sure, I love a bargain myself, I do swapsies all day long when I head to a market... I bargain and barter with my fellow stall holders and come away with great goodies in fair and just exchange for other lovely stuff of mine!
Fairs Fair... and in HANDMADE and made local, made and sold in little independent stores- pay the price. Sure go spend your dollars in the likes of Amazon or the Billionaire profiteers beginning with P****'s... but pay the price with the crafters, makers and artists- We already offer the very best price, the best feel goods and the best makes available.
All my Christmas goodies are here already, at the bestest prices I can make them at... and hey I don't care if you buy on Wednesday, Thursday or any day of the week that ends in "day"... even "TO-day"... your support means the world.
So Happy Green Friday, Happy Black Friday... Happy every DAY of the year and there are 365 of them and we, the little makers of the world, are here all year long ( not just for Christmas)...
Speaking of which- if you are more into experiences than things... I have my first workshop of the year up and ready to purchase... get out in January- bright and early.... learn a new skill, do some mindful crafting and recycle your Christmas wine bottles into a lovely spring vase!... 12th January in Kildare town.
